The Beacon

Manila Bulletin
December 16, 2009

Anew condo development in Makati offers a safe haven for urbanites who also want to embrace the diversity of today’s lifestyles. At the heart of Makati City, The Beacon is a resort-inspired residential community that will serve as a unique gateway to the city’s businesses, malls and schools while keeping family members close by.

Located at the corner of Don Chino Roces and Arnaiz Avenues, this three-tower development affords its residents the convenience of being near the country’s top business district. It will also be safe from floods since the condo units are placed on top of a podium, thereby guaranteeing ample elevation. An alternate route at the back (along Amorsolo Street) will also be provided in cases of emergency.

This exclusive Makati address is also just a five-minute walk to Walter Mart, which houses a supermarket, department store, cinemas, bookstores, drug stores and restaurants. Makati Cinema Square, home to a variety of shops, is also a few steps away. Further down the road is Shop Wise, one of the biggest superstores in Metro Manila.

Some of the country’s top schools – Don Bosco, Ateneo Professional School, and the Asian Institute Management are also within the vicinity.

The Beacon is also just a short distance away from the Greenbelt shopping areas and Ayala malls. Residents can now enjoy shopping and dining comfortably, sans worrying about the long route from their homes to the malls as they can go there on foot. Walking to the malls not only has health benefits, it can also cut your expenditures on gas and parking fees.

Walking your way around the city is also an interesting way to explore Makati’s streets and discover hidden treasures in the form of small shops along the way. The Ayala and Yuchengco Museums are easily accessible so you can get your dose of history and art without travelling far.

Busy executives working in Makati can benefit from the Beacon’s unique location since it would allow them to walk using the inner streets to avoid the dreaded traffic along Ayala, Paseo de Roxas, Gil Puyat and Makati Avenues.

Residents will also find it easy to locate hospitals, churches and other places of worship. Makati Medical Center, Iglesia ni Cristo, and Don Bosco Parish Churches, for example, are within the community.

In addition, the development’s location, at the intersection of two main roads, facilitate for a relaxing journey. Commuting around the city is easy. Travelling in and around Metro Manila is also possible via the South Superhighway and EDSA.

To complete the live-work-play lifestyle, The Beacon is also filled with relaxation and recreation amenities and services. Working on a residential resort living concept, it provides residents amenities such as Olympic-sized swimming pool, kiddie & toddler’s pools, playground, garden, jogging trail, gym, function rooms, playroom, emergency clinic, and rooftop gardens with barbecue pits.

There’s also property management and concierge services, conveniences once limited to resorts and hotels.

Units in this new development come in studio, loft, two-bedroom and three-bedroom cuts.
